The American actor, at 58 years old and crowned by People as the sexiest man in the world in 2023, talks about his children and race cars. A love that led him to design a line of glasses for Porsche Design.
The stewardess invites him to end the conversation and turn off his phone: ‘-“Mister Dempsey we are taking off.” The actor answers with a smile. Incredulous. “I was going to Maine from New York, my agent called me to tell me the news. I almost started laughing.” The news Patrick Dempsey received was that he was crowned Sexiest Man Alive, the sexiest man in the world by People magazine. After years of questions about what it feels like to be the sexiest and most popular doctor on the small screen in Grey’s Anatomy, since the end of 2023 the catchphrase for the actor is this, to be an erotic dream. For years his fans didn’t understand that their darling hadn’t already ended up on the cover of People. The answer? Dempsey is 58 years old and has three children with his wife, make-up artist Jillian Fink: Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick, 17-year-old twins, and Talula Fyfe, 22 years old, the eldest. Definitely excited to have the sexiest father in the world. “Enthusiastic? We discussed this. So much. Give back what you received.” So he created in 2008 the Dempsey Center in Maine, to offer cancer patients free quality care, a project inspired by his mother Amanda’s experience, who died of ovarian cancer. “As a father I try to be with my children as much as possible, to give them adequate emotional support.
