Journalist: We also caught up with actor, philanthropist and Lewiston native Patrick Dempsey this afternoon. He is still closely linked to the city and he took a moment to speak with us about what his hometown has been going through for the last half year.
Patrick Dempsey: It’s going to be a long recovery. We’re six months in right now and it’s going to take years to come back from this I think. It’s still very hard to go into Lewiston, Auburn and not be moved and saddened by it but I’ll tell you, the community is very strong and have overcome so much already, still a long way to go.
