On March 1st, Patrick and Jillian Dempsey attended Chanel’s 16th Annual Pre-Oscar Awards Dinner in Beverly Hills.
The event was the couple’s first official outing after being impacted by the wildfires (Franklin and Palisades) that struck Los Angeles in December 2024 and January 2025. Because of the incidents, Patrick had to cancel several engagements. Luckily, the consequences of the fires were not dramatic for the Dempseys.
Held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Chanel Dinner is one of the many star studded events preceding the Oscars ceremony, one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.
Patrick and Jillian attended the event last year and were the perfect picture of elegance. This year is no different, the couple looked dashing as they posed for photos, wearing classic and elegant outfits.

Patrick was quickly interviewed by Variety and talked about being out for the first time since the fires and explained why he is not returning for Scream 7.
“No it just didn’t work out. We were dealing with the fires and everything that was going on. The schedules didn’t work out unfortunately. It just couldn’t…the schedules just couldn’t get worked out.”
