Last week (05/03), Patrick Dempsey was back in his home state to attend the open house at the new Dempsey Center at Rock Row Medical Campus in Westbrook, Maine.
It was along time in the making and the moment is finally here. The Dempsey Center officially opened its new facility in Westbrook, Maine. Patrick Dempsey, its founder, was in present for the occasion.
Across several interviews he explained what the Center does to help the people whose lives have been impacted by cancer. It was also the opportunity for him to express how fulfilling his work with the Center and described it as the most fulfilling experience in his life.
The actor went back to the new facility the next day to pay a surprise visit to patients and chat with them. One of them described the encounter as follows:
“He stopped and spoke to and had conversation with every patient. He is extremely caring and so grounded. He raised spirits all around amongst staff and patients!”
