From soccer to mini golf, Patrick Dempsey had a busy Saturday.
Last Saturday (17/05) was back in Maine to show his support to the local soccer team, the Portland Hearts of Pine. They were up against the FC Naples. He participated in the coin toss and then lead a chant with the team’s Dirigo Union supporters just before the kickoff. Earlier this year, the Dempsey Center announced a partnership with the team. The actor and philanthropist was seen wearing one of the team’s “Lead With Your Heart” hoodies, which seems to be the perfect choice considering how often Patrick shows how big his heart is, especially when it comes to helping others.
After a short time at Fitzpatrick Stadium, he headed to Thompson’s Point to attend Putt Putt Fore Kids. The event kicks off Drive Fore Kids, the annual golf tournament that benefits the Dempsey Center and MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. He played mini golf and delighted kids and parents alike.
