Patrick Dempsey enjoyed some racing in Italy.
Over the weekend (20-22/06), Patrick Dempsey was spotted at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola where he participated in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse. He did not do the race itself but did several laps during the free practice sessions on Friday and Saturday.
Earlier this year, on the Happy Hour podcast Patrick talked about doing some races internationally so it is possible that his presence on one of Italy’s most famous circuits is related to this project. Considering he did not take part in the race itself, it is also possible that he used this opportunity to get more seat time in preparation for a bigger race that he may do with his friend and racing coach Patrick Long.
No matter the reason, it comes as no surprise that enjoyed his time on the track as shown by his post on Instagram:
“Had two fantastic days at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Suisse here in Imola. Thank you to the entire team of sportec_ag and marcel_fassler_official for this great experience. I’m already looking forward to the next one!”

On Sunday (22/06), he was seen at the airport in Bologna. What’s the next stop? Somewhere else in Europe or back home in the US?
