Patrick Dempsey for 20/20 Magazine

20/20 Magazine just released their July/August issue featuring Patrick Dempsey on the cover along with a short conversation.

In the short conversation talks about this new aspect of his collaboration with TAG Heuer. He emphasises how brilliantly the brand combines nods to its past with modern technology to create timeless and elegant pieces both for their watches and eyewear collections.

Later on he explains that he was part of the creative process:

“We had a good conversation about it and working with the designers, we talked about size, because size is so critical, making sure you have the right size and the right fit, and what were the design cues and inspiration. It was very collaborative.”

During the conversation he also shared an inspiring insight on personal style:

“It was really fun because my son had his prom the other night. He went through my closet and found a suit that he wanted to wear. You can tell he felt different—he felt really comfortable and confident, and that’s what you want in either a suit or a watch or your sunglasses. It’s something that makes you feel confident, something that’s an extension of who you are, and it’s authentic on how you present yourself. And I think everybody has that voice that you need to listen to, what gives you the confidence and allows you to express yourself.”
